The younger brother of Arsenal talent Ethan Nwaneri scored a hat-trick for the Gunners' Under-16s against Chelsea on Saturday.
The young Arsenal side narrowly overcame their Blues counterparts in a 4-3 victory. Emerson Nwaneri scored three of the goals, claiming the match ball as his own.
Joshua Sesay provided the other goal as well as an assist for the hat-trick hero.
Taking to social media afterwards, Nwaneri posted an Instagram story - a picture of himself posing with the match ball in the team's locker room with three football emojis added as a caption.
With so many young talents progressing through the Arsenal ranks in recent years, his name may be the next to watch. The midfielder - who can also operate as a full-back - is in his final year as a schoolboy and could still be offered a scholarship to continue with the club next season.
The teenager was recognised by Arsenal coaches over the summer and offered the opportunity to play above his level, featuring in an Under-18s friendly against Dover Athletic's senior side.
Of course, this is a strange scenario for the family, as his older brother remains the youngest-ever to step onto the field for the Gunners' senior side, aged 15 years and 181 days at the time of his debut in September 2022.
Ethan Nwaneri remains a key feature of Mikel Arteta's squad and is certainly viewed as a player who could make a lasting impact at the Emirates Stadium in years to come.
The 18-year-old made an early appearance from the bench against Nottingham Forest on Saturday lunchtime, whilst his younger brother was elsewhere netting his hat-trick.
This is because Martin Odegaard suffered a second shoulder injury of the season and had to be removed from the action, which ended as a 3-0 win for the Gunners.
Arteta commented: "I don't know if it's exactly the same place, but very similar injury. He wasn't comfortable to continue, he's played two games with Norway, unfortunately he cannot carry on today.
"So we have to assess him with the doctors and see, but I'm sure he will try his best to be fit for Tuesday.
"[Ethan was] very good, different qualities, and you can sense, especially in the first half, when he got the ball in certain areas, how comfortable he is to carry the ball straight away.
"At the moment, he's very close to the ball; he's got one thing in his mind, which is the goal and nothing else. That's great that we have different qualities within the same position, and again against Leeds, I think it was the same thing.
"After 20 minutes, we had to get Martin out; he came on and did very well."
