Liverpool faces Everton in an away Merseyside derby for the first time since the Toffees moved into their new stadium last year.
The final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park last season was a dramatic one, as the Reds conceded a late injury time equalizer and four people were shown red cards after the final whistle – including Arne Slot.
Liverpool was going for the title last season, while Everton was battling at the other end of the table, but on this occasion, both clubs are vying for the same target: Champions League qualification.
A victory for Liverpool would see Arne Slot's men give themselves a seven-point cushion in fifth place, but a win for Everton would see the gap between the two local rivals narrow to just two points.
