Exeter City's League One game with Burton Albion on Saturday has been postponed after a fire at their St James Park ground.
The stadium's control room was badly damaged by a fire last week and is not reparable in time to make the ground safe for the fixture.
The fire damaged the electricity supply to the Adam Stansfield Stand, public address and fire alarm systems, first aid facilities and internal computer networks.
The club began repair work earlier this week and has been crowdfunding to try and pay for the repairs before an insurance claim can come through.
"Despite the extraordinary efforts of club staff, volunteers and local businesses, we are unable to complete the extensive repairs required, or to carry out the essential safety testing needed to ensure all systems are operating safely for our supporters and players," the club said in a statement., external
"Repair work will continue at pace as we aim to restore the stadium to full operation as quickly as possible.
"Everyone at Exeter City would like to thank our incredible supporters for their unwavering backing during this difficult time. We are stronger together."
A new date for the game will be announced in due course.
