Thomas Frank could have a new Tottenham signing in his matchday squad for the Premier League opener against Burnley if Johan Lange and Co. work swiftly.
Spurs put in a tremendous shift during the UEFA Super Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain but were ultimately beaten on penalties after letting a two-goal lead slip in the final 10 minutes. Confidence can definitely be taken from that clash however, and Frank will be hoping that is showcased on Saturday against newly-promoted Burnley.
Considering the difference in opposition, it is very likely that a back four will be deployed in front of Guglielmo Vicario. Destiny Udogie was not quite fit enough to feature in Udine, but a return to this weekend's squad should be possible.
Djed Spence has more than deserved another start on the left of defence with Pedro Porro on the opposite flank and the two full-backs either side of new captain Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. That will see Danso drop down to the bench.

Joao Palhinha gets the nod at the base of midfield again after a much improved performance against PSG in comparison to his debut against parent club Bayern Munich.
Pape Sarr is an indisputable starter following his pre-season the relentless display he put in against the European champions. The duo will be supported by Archie Gray, Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall as bench options.
Frank will be hoping the final piece of his midfield puzzle ends up being Eberechi Eze with the Crystal Palace star keen to join and a first bid from Tottenham imminent.
Considering his bright pre-season and the lack of creativity currently available, the 27-year-old goes straight into the starting XI if he is registered before 12pm on Friday.
There are several dilemmas in the front three, but it is quite clear that Kudus takes one of those spots. The Ghana international's hold-up play and impressive dribbling was again on show earlier this week and off the right, he could have a hugely significant impact for Spurs.

Dominic Solanke returned from injury against the Parisians but given his lack of minutes and Richarlison's solid display, the latter gets the nod. Finally, it would make sense for Wilson Obobert to start against his former club off the left after a difficult night for Mathys Tel.
The Frenchman is still likely to feature however, with Brennan Johnson and Solanke as the other attacking options at Frank's disposal. Johnson, Tel and Odobert are all capable of being deployed on the left but that spot could soon be Savinho's.
A second bid to Manchester City for the Brazilian is expected shortly with it clear that is where Frank needs further investment. Ben Davies and and Luka Vuskovic are the duo unfortunate to miss out on a spot
