Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today's FA Cup quarter-final draw with Manchester City in the hat.

The Blues were 3-1 winners at Newcastle United on Saturday night as Pep Guardiola's side recovered from going a goal down to roar back. Omar Marmoush scored twice for City in Erling Haaland's absence with Savinho also on target.

City will take their place in the draw alongside Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool while Leeds United are also through. Championship side Southampton are through having upset Fulham while Port Vale stunned Sunderland. The final place will go to the winners of tonight's tie between West Ham and Brentford.

The draw will take place ahead of that game and you can follow it live here.

Fifth round results

Of course we all know who City fared on Saturday but the other results yielded a couple of big upsets.

League One side Port Vale, bottom of the third tier, beat Premier League side Sunderland 1-0, while Championship play-off chasers Southampton beat Fulham.

That means two EFL sides are in the last eight. Elsewhere, Chelsea survived a scare to win 4-2 at Wrexham while Arsenal were narrow 2-1 winners at League One outfit Mansfield. Leeds are also through after beating Norwich City.

Friday night saw Liverpool win at Wolves 3-1 while Brentford and West Ham meet in the final last-16 tie tonight.

City's cup run so far

The weekend win at Newcastle was the first time City had played a Premier League side in this season's FA Cup.

The Blues began their campaign in January against League One side Exeter City when they romped to a 10-1 win at the Etihad.

The fourth round saw another home game with lower league opposition as City eased past Salford City of League Two 2-0.

That led to the Newcastle trip with City emerging as 3-1 winners to move into the last eight.

Welcome along

Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of the FA Cup quarter-final draw!

City booked their place in the last eight with a superb win at Newcastle United on Saturday night as Omar Marmoush scored twice with Savinho also on target as the Blues came from behind to win at St James' Park.

That victory came despite Pep Guardiola ringing the changes with Matheus Nunes the only survivor from last week's draw in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest.

The victory means City remain in the hunt for four trophies as they challenge domestically and in Europe.
