Fabrizio Romano has revealed what his sources are telling him about Thomas Frank’s future at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Spurs fans made their feelings clear about Frank following West Ham’s late winner on Saturday.

The Tottenham fans sang ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ to Frank, and that is certainly not something any manager would want to hear from his own supporters.

Since yesterday’s loss, we have heard several reports suggesting that Spurs are seriously weighing up a managerial change, and there has now been another update on the matter.

Fabrizio Romano reveals Thomas Frank’s Tottenham job is not safe

Romano has now described Frank’s situation at Spurs as ‘very, very complicated’ after Tottenham’s defeat to West Ham.

The Dane revealed that the Spurs head coach’s job is now at ‘serious risk’ and that there could be a big decision coming over the next hours or days.

Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Tottenham tried to show support to Thomas Frank by hiring John Heitinga as a new part of the backroom staff during the week, but then over the weekend Tottenham lose again. Now the situation is very very complicated for Thomas Frank and Tottenham. His job is at serious risk.

“So let’s see what happens in the next hours and days but the situation of Thomas Frank at Tottenham is not safe at this stage. They could change the manager. Let’s see if it’s going to be now or if they will give him the opportunity to try and turn the situation. But the situation is very tense for Thomas Frank and Tottenham.”

Spurs may be forced into Frank decision due to supporter unrest

In the lead-up to the clash against West Ham, it had been widely reported that Tottenham plan to persist with Frank and give him the time he needs to turn things around.

However, it is clear from the reaction at the stadium and on social media that the Spurs supporters have now decisively turned against Frank.

Even if Vinai Venketesham and the Tottenham hierarchy have faith that the Dane can turn things around, they may feel that the only way to remove the negative mood around the club is to bite the bullet and make a managerial change.
