Earlier this year, PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and since then, the Dutch midfielder has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Fabrizio Romano reported that Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million upfront. The 22-year-old signed a contract through June 2027, and PSG secured a sell-on clause as part of the deal.
CaughtOffside recently revealed that Simons could be available this summer for around €60 million and is open to moving to the Premier League. Discussions are already underway about a potential transfer to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all in the mix as possible destinations for the Netherlands international.

Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Chelsea held more talks with Simons’ camp this week. The club remain seriously interested and are pushing to strike a verbal agreement.
RB Leipzig are open to selling Simons and are seeking a total package worth at least €70 million, but Chelsea are hoping to bring that number down. If talks fall through, other clubs are prepared to jump into the mix.
