Federico Chiesa has started just two Premier League games for Liverpool since joining the club in 2024, and he is being linked with a possible return to Juventus

Liverpool has had no contact from Juventus regarding a possible return to Turin for Federico Chiesa.
A report by Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport last week said that Chiesa was "fascinated" by the prospect of rejoining his old club amid a lack of game time since his transfer to Liverpool in 2024.
Chiesa has struggled to make inroads at Liverpool since the beginning of last season, starting just two Premier League games under Arne Slot – one of which came after the Reds had wrapped the title up last May.
The Italian has been an impactful substitute at times this term, but underwhelmed when he was handed his only league start of this season against Wolves on December 27.

The landscape at Juve has changed since Chiesa reluctantly left the Serie A club to join Liverpool in 2024, with Giorgio Chiellini having replaced Cristiano Giuntoli as Juve's sporting director, and Luciano Spalletti in charge of the team after a couple of disappointing managerial appointments.

Prior to leaving Juventus, Chiesa was frozen out by former manager Thiago Motta, giving the Italian forward little choice but to continue his career away from the Bianconeri.
Juve was said to be considering an approach to re-sign Chiesa on a loan deal until the end of the season, but The Athletic reports that there has been no contact between Liverpool and Juventus.
Even if Juventus were to register an interest in Chiesa, it is suggested that Liverpool would not entertain the prospect of him leaving as he is regarded as an important member of Slot's squad.
He regularly figures as a substitute, and is currently being called on more frequently than he previously was due to selection issues currently facing Liverpool head coach Slot.
Mohamed Salah is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations and his long-term Liverpool future is uncertain, while Alexander Isak is on the road to recovery after breaking his leg.
Contrastingly, Sky Italia says that Liverpool would entertain the prospect of allowing Chiesa to leave, but only on a permanent deal, with a possible loan exit not currently something the club is considering.
