It's become one of the highlights of the Oasis comeback tour.
Every night before the band launch into Cigarettes and Alcohol Noel and Liam Gallagher urge the fans to turn their back on the stage and 'do the Poznan'. For the uninitiated, the bizarre move is borrowed from the terraces of the brothers' beloved Manchester City.
Blues fans famously adopted the celebration after seeing supporters of the Polish club Lech Poznan do it during a 2010 Europa League tie. Ever since 'The Poznan' has become a regular sight at the Etihad.
And now Lech Poznan have written to Noel to thank Oasis for helping to 'spread the name of our city and team in such a remarkable way'. The club also gifted the songwriter a Poznan shirt with his name and number 12 on the back - to signify the fans being the team's '12th player'.
The club said this year marks the 15th anniversary of Lech Poznan's visit to the Manchester.
"Soon after the whole of the UK and the world discovered how we celebrate football in our city," they wrote. "The term 'The Poznan' even made it into the Cambridge Dictionary!
"We are truly proud that such a great club as Manchester City helped spread the name of our city and team in such a remarkable way.
"We've seen the recordings from your concerts where you encourage Oasis fans to do join in and do 'the Poznan' - and we have to say it really makes a huge impression! Perhaps one day you would like to visit our city as well - either to play a show here or experience first hand the unique atmosphere of a Lech match at our stadium
"Please feel free to wear the jersey or simply keep it as a small token of connection between you and our club."

"Even United fans have been doing it!! UP THE BLUES."
