Ramon Vega sees many concerning signs which suggest that the Tottenham hierarchy are failing in their attempted rebuild.
Spurs set a new record by falling to their 11th Premier League defeat of the calendar year against Liverpool, with the Lilywhites’ home form continuing to be a major source of concern.
The relationship between the players and the fans is also worsening since Thomas Frank arrived through the door in the summer.
The Dane’s tactics have left Tottenham fans frustrated, and one former Spurs man has questioned the direction in which the club are headed.

Ramon Vega is alarmed by recent Tottenham developments
What has made things even more challenging for Frank is that Tottenham’s assistant coach Matt Wells could be on his way out as he is in contention to take charge as the head coach of MLS side Colorado Rapids.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours that the club’s sporting director, Fabio Paratici, is in talks to take over as Fiorentina’s Head of Football.
Vega believes that these developments leave the North London club in a very precarious position at a time when they are trying to rebuild the squad.
He said: ‘So the assistant manager of Frank is leaving the DOF is on the way out only just after a few months ago being reinstated! The dressing room is not united because there is no direction you can see!
‘So tell me, where is the rebuild or the strategy of the club? Vinai and the Board are also not communicating well with the fans to get that connection again!
‘They leave the fans again guessing and build a hostile atmosphere around the club and anger rightfully so with the most expensive tickets they pay to watch and support.’

Losing Paratici would be an alarming sign for Spurs
Paratici only officially returned to Spurs as the club’s sporting director in October, and he did so in a unique role.
The Italian joined as a co-sporting director alongside Johan Lange, which raised some eyebrows at the time.
Vinai Venkatesham was confident that Paratici and Lange would work well together, but if the Italian vacates his role just two months after taking the job, that may be a sign that all is not well behind the scenes at Hotspur Way.
