The full-back has struggled for regular game time this season after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium
Arsenal full-back Myles Lewis-Skelly is reportedly growing ‘frustrated’ with his lack of game time at the Emirates Stadium this season, with the academy graduate holding talks with Mikel Arteta over the situation.
The England international burst onto the scene last season, making 39 first-team appearances in all competitions. However, this campaign, he has been restricted to mainly appearances off the bench.
His game time has dried up even more over the last few weeks, with his only minutes since January coming in the FA Cup fourth round clash against Wigan Athletic.
Lewis-Skelly has not made an appearance in the Premier League since early January and was an unused substitute for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen.

The Sun report that the 19-year-old has made his feelings clear to Arteta, with the Arsenal boss telling the teenager to remain patient.
However, it is added that his future at the Emirates Stadium next season is ‘unclear’, with a chance that the defender could go out on loan in the summer transfer window in search of more game time. It’s also suggested that he could be sold.
Speaking about Lewis-Skelly’s lack of game time ahead of the clash against Leverkusen, Arteta said: “Every season is different.
“He had very good moments in this season. He had other moments when he hasn't played in that much.
“Obviously, a few days ago, in the FA Cup, he was suspended and he could not play. So, there are various reasons. Sometimes, as well, the good form of your teammates.
“There's a lot of factors that contribute to that. But he's doing well.”
Over the season, Lewis-Skelly has fallen down the pecking order, which will also impact his chance of making the England squad for the summer’s World Cup.
Having broken into the squad last season, his lack of game time has seen others overtake him in the reckoning.
