McFarlane, who led Chelsea to a hard-fought draw at Manchester City over the weekend, will manage the team tonight while newly-appointed head coach Liam Rosenior watches on from the stands at Craven Cottage.

Rosenior 's first match in charge of the west Londoners looks set to be the weekend's FA Cup third round tie with Charlton Athletic. After a brave display in Manchester on Sunday evening, McFarlane will be hoping the players show something similar in the west London derby tonight.
