Liverpool travels to Fulham in its first away game of 2026, with the Reds looking to extend their unbeaten run to nine games.
However, that doesn’t tell the full story of Liverpool’s current form, with Arne Slot’s champions struggling in recent wins over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, while being held to a goalless draw against Leeds United on New Year’s Day.
On Sunday, the Reds return to the site of one of their most bruising encounters from last season. In many ways, the 3-2 defeat to Fulham in April was a warning of what was to come for Liverpool in the second half of 2026.
Thankfully, Slot’s squad is looking a little healthier heading into the encounter, due to the recent returns of four players from injury, while the champions haven’t lost an away Premier League match in almost two months.
As for Fulham, it is also enjoying a good run of form and has taken 10 points from the last 12 on offer.
