Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes appeared to enjoy getting one over on former Tottenham star Son Heung-min in Brazil's dominant win over South Korea during the October international break. Spurs have already beaten the Gunners in a pre-season friendly, but their first competitive fixture of the campaign is just over one month away.
Both teams have enjoyed strong starts to the new campaign with wins against Leeds United and West Ham United before the two-week domestic pause, moving Spurs and Arsenal up to third and first, respectively.
Despite losing to title rivals Liverpool and dropping points against Manchester City, Arsenal sit top and deservedly so.
Their strong start is can be considered even more impressive when considering Mikel Arteta has already been forced to prepare for games without the likes of William Saliba, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz due to injuries.
With those key players all missing some action, Cristhian Mosquera, Gabriel Martinelli and several others have stepped up. Enforced absences have not been as common across north London, but given the changes at Tottenham, it has been a very good first few months under Thomas Frank.
The Lilywhites have played two newly-promoted teams alongside early strugglers West Ham and Wolves, but it is worth noting that four of their five top goalscorers from last season have not started any of those games.
Dejan Kulusevski is still missing because of a knee injury suffered last season with James Maddison joining him as a long-term absentee while Dominic Solanke has been plagued by an ankle issue since August with minor surgery required to fix the problem.
And finally former club captain Son actually departed the club after 10 years to join Los Angeles FC. He has made a great start to life in the United States but he was unable to find the back of the net up against Gabriel's Brazil as South Korea were beaten 5-0 in a friendly on Friday.
After the victory, Gabriel made a post to Instagram and made sure to include a very particular image. As the caption, he wrote: "Great win!! We continue together in pursuit of our goal!! [Brazil flag and flexed arm emoji]."

A total of seven pictures of him in action were uploaded with one of him looking triumphant behind Son as the fourth and Arsenal fans will certainly love him continuing that rivalry even after he left Spurs and on the international stage.
Gabriel has done similar in the past with his battles up against Manchester City's Erling Haaland very memorable. A very different task could be awaiting the 27-year-old on his return to England though, with Fulham as Arsenal's next opponents.
Rodrigo Muniz has already been ruled out through injury and Raul Jimenez has also recently picked up an issue which could result in Gabriel and William Saliba coming up against a false 9 next Sunday.
