Manchester City are just two points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table after the weekend's results
Manchester City have been sent some advice by Gary Neville over the Premier League title race after another busy weekend of action. City claimed a 3-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday which reduced to merely two points to leaders Arsenal.
The Gunners suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Aston Villa in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, which gave City the opportunity to reduce the gap between themselves and the Premier League summit.
Pep Guardiola's side will now prepare for a Champions League clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in midweek before returning to Premier League action at the weekend with an away trip to Crystal Palace.
With Arsenal's margin over City narrowed to just two points following the weekend's results, Neville has offered guidance to both the Gunners and Guardiola's team with the title race beginning to intensify, reports football.london.

I wouldn't be panicking at all if I was Arsenal off the back of that," said Neville on the latest episode of The Gary Neville podcast for Sky Sports.
"You're going to lose a game or two, you just are, and you're going to win a lot of games.
"They could sit there and think that Manchester City are a couple of points off them but they've had a tough week, Arsenal. You could argue it's been Arsenal's toughest week of the season [facing Chelsea away, Brentford home, Villa away].
"They'll realise that Manchester City have got those types of weeks coming at points in the season as well. I don't think it's a time to panic but they're certainly going to feel that breath on the neck of Manchester City and Pep Guardiola and I think City will think, 'If we can stay this close until April, May, let's see what they're made of'.
"That's what Manchester City have to do, they have to hang in there and sit on their shoulder and see what they're about and see what they're made of and see what they're like in a real title race again."
