Jamie Carragher originally backed Liverpool to draw 1-1 with Tottenham this weekend, only for Gary Neville to convince him to change his prediction to a narrow Liverpool victory.
During the Sky Bet Super 6 section of the Stick to Football podcast, Neville goes head-to-head with Roy Keane in each episode as they predict the scores in six upcoming games. With Carragher sitting on Neville's side of the table for the latest episode, the pair joined forces as they submitted their prediction for Spurs versus Liverpool, while Keane had Ian Wright and Jill Scott informing his prediction.
Keane overruled Scott – who thinks Liverpool will win – as the Irishman tipped a 2-2 draw, saying: "1-1 or 2-2, I think Spurs will get a draw, as bad as they are."
On the other side of the table, Neville said that he didn't want to predict a draw, as he is traveling to London to co-commentate on the game for Sky Sports and preferred to choose an outright winner.
"It can't be a draw, I'm not going to London for a draw," Neville said, before Carragher said.
"I just don't know on this one at all. 1-1."
Neville responded: "No, I'm not going to London for a 1-1. I mean, it probably is a 1-1.
"Have Liverpool got it in them to go and win there?"
Carragher said: "Liverpool 2-1. Tottenham's home record is horrendous," before Neville agreed: "Go on, we'll go Liverpool 2-1 there, because I'm doing the game. We can't go for a draw."
Liverpool goes into the game with a few injury concerns.
Joe Gomez came off during the first half of the Reds' win at Brighton over the weekend and seems unlikely to feature at Spurs, while Dominik Szoboszlai also came off after receiving treatment.
Cody Gakpo and Wataru Endo are both out, while Giovanni Leoni is a long-term absentee with the knee injury he sustained in September.
Jeremie Frimpong is closing in on a return, but it is not clear whether the former Bayer Leverkusen wing-back will be ready this weekend, while Mohamed Salah played his last game of the year for Liverpool last weekend before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
In better news, right-back Conor Bradley will be available after serving a one-game suspension against Brighton for a totting-up of yellow cards.
