Haaland, Doku, Savinho - Man City injury news and return dates ahead of FA Cup clash

Manchester City are aiming to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup this weekend but they still have a number of injury problems to contend with

Manchester City head into the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend unsure about the availability of Erling Haaland. The Norwegian scored in the 3-0 victory over Fulham on Wednesday night but had to be replaced at half time after explaining he did not feel comfortable.

Haaland is one of five players who could be sidelined for the visit of Salford City. The Blues have only played the League Two side once before and that was last season in the third round of the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola's side won 8-0 in that game.

With the busy schedule beginning to ease off, Guardiola will be hoping he can welcome some players back at the near future. MEN Sport has taken a closer look at the latest injury news in the City camp ahead of this one.

Erling Haaland

Injury: Knock

Guardiola shed a little more light onto Haaland's injury in his pre-match press conference. He said: "Erling is not 100 per cent. We will see today how he feels. It is not a big issue, the doctor said to me, but he had some disturbance during the game and that's why he didn't play in the second half."

Potential return date: February 14 vs Salford City

Jeremy Doku

Injury: Calf

There was no fresh update on the fitness of Doku in the pre-match press conference. However, the Belgian is expected to be out this weekend after suffering a calf issue during the Champions League victory over Galatasaray.

Potential return date: February

Savinho

Injury: Knee

The winger has not played since New Year's Day after injuring his knee against Sunderland. Guardiola will hope he is available before the turn of the month.
