HSV sporting director Claus Costa has made a big admission regarding where Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic may be playing his football next season.
A number of sources have reported over recent weeks that multiple European giants are circling over Vuskiovic ahead of the summer window.
The Croat has been nearly flawless at the back on loan at Hamburg this summer, and his list of admirers continues to grow with each passing week.
Vuskovic’s agent has refused to discuss the speculation over the client’s future, but Spurs fans will be concerned about the 18-year-old’s head potentially being turned by the European elite.

Hamburg director does not expect Tottenham to extend Luka Vuskovic’s loan
Last week, Florian Plettenberg revealed that Barcelona had already held internal talks regarding a move for Vuskovic in the summer, while Hamburg were also working hard to extend the teenager’s loan spell.
There have even been claims that the young Spurs centre-back wants to extend his stay at Hamburg for one more season so that he can play with his brother, Mario, who is currently serving a suspension for doping.
However, HSV’s sporting director Claus Costa has now admitted that the Bundesliga club have no chance of retaining the young defender.
When asked about Vuskovic possibly staying at Volksparkstadion for one more year, Costa told NDR: “To be honest and realistic, there is absolutely no chance that Luka will play for us next season. The more he delivers performances like these, the less likely such a scenario becomes.”
Spurs fans will be excited by Claus Costa’s Vuskovic admission
The Hamburg director also waxed lyrical about the impact that the teenager has made since arriving at the club last summer.
He even admitted that Vuskovic might be the best loan signing in the German club’s entire history.
Costa added about the Spurs man: “Week after week, he performs at a very high level. His consistency is truly impressive, and he is an absolute asset to our team and the entire club. We are proud and happy that he is with us. I wouldn’t dare disagree with the claim that he is the best loan player in the history of HSV.”
