A fresh report has now revealed Cesc Fabregas’ stance on becoming Tottenham Hotspur manager amid fresh links with the Spurs job.

Tottenham Hotspur are entrenched in a relegation battle, and their focus is currently on securing their Premier League status ahead of next season.

However, with Igor Tudor expected to be replaced in the next six months, it is hard to keep speculation about potential new managerial appointments quiet.

Over the past few weeks, a handful of managers have been linked with the Tottenham job. Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi have been named as favourites for the Spurs role this summer.

Tottenham linked with controversial Cesc Fabregas move

Spurs have also been linked with Cesc Fabregas of Como in recent weeks following his impressive managerial stint in Serie A.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder has the Italian side competing for a Champions League spot, and it is hard to ignore the work being done there.

GiveMeSport have now revealed what Cesc Fabregas’ stance is regarding a move to north London with Spurs this summer.

According to the publication, it is believed that Fabregas would be open to taking the Tottenham job despite his connections with both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Spurs face competition as Alan Brazil casts doubt on Mauricio Pochettino talks

Spurs will not have a free run at Fabregas, as there is set to be competition for the Spaniard, with Manchester City also said to be monitoring the former Arsenal man.

However, while there is talk about the man in the Tottenham dugout, the latest update on Spurs’ links with Mauricio Pochettino might suggest that Tottenham are not in talks with any managers as yet.

Alan Brazil has claimed he heard from insiders that Spurs have not made any approach to the Argentine, who is their supposed “favourite”. He said: “The latest is, they have not even spoken to him.

“So, I do not know what they are doing, and I do not think they know what they are doing.”
