Tottenham Hotspur are wasting no time in trying to get ahead of the competition to land Marcos Senesi, but they have plenty of work to do to sign the Bournemouth defender.
The speculation linking the Argentine centre-back with a move to N17 has gone into hyperdrive over the last week as the defender looks set to become a free agent this summer.
Over recent days, various outlets have said that Tottenham are in close contact with Senesi’s representatives regarding a switch to N17.
It has been claimed that there could be some big developments on the Spurs target’s future by the end of the week, after the defender already made it known that he will not be signing a new contract at the Vitality Stadium.

Tottenham one of four clubs making ‘strongest push’ for Marcos Senesi
A new report in Ole has now provided an update on the Argentine centre-back’s future.
It is revealed that Senesi has already been the subject of enquiries from multiple clubs, and there have already been some negotiations held.
The outlet claims that the four sides showing the ‘most interest’ and are making the ‘strongest push’ at the moment are Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Man United and Chelsea.
However, it is pointed out that Senesi will only consider a move to the North London club if they manage to secure their Premier League status.
When Senesi is expected to decide on his next destination
Ole claim that the interest in the experienced defender is not restricted to England, with Barcelona and Juventus also in the running to land the Bournemouth star.
The outlet backs up what some other sources have said by asserting that Senesi wants to finalise his next destination before this summer’s World Cup.
The publication adds that the 28-year-old’s immediate focus is on having a strong end to the season with the Cherries and to seal his spot in Lionel Scaloni’s final list for the big tournament in North America this summer.
