A new report has revealed Sean Dyche’s stance on taking over at Tottenham, with Igor Tudor’s future at the club now uncertain as Spurs fight to avoid relegation.
Igor Tudor has struggled to bring consistency to Tottenham Hotspur since replacing Thomas Frank, and while performances have shown some improvement, results have simply not followed.
Spurs now sit just one point above the relegation zone with only seven games remaining, leaving little margin for error in the final stretch of the season.
The Croatian has lost four of his five Premier League matches in charge, drawing the other, and the recent 3-0 defeat to fellow relegation contenders Nottingham Forest may prove to be the last straw.
Reports last week suggested that a mutual parting of ways could be on the cards, particularly after Tudor sadly lost his father shortly after that defeat, with a separation potentially the most suitable outcome for both parties.
There has been no official confirmation yet, but that is believed to be due to Tottenham wanting clarity on a successor before making any announcement.
Now, there has been a significant development regarding one of the leading candidates.

Sean Dyche responds to Tottenham approach as relegation battle intensifies
Earlier this week, it emerged that Sean Dyche had surprisingly entered the frame for the Tottenham job, despite previous reports suggesting that a short-term role may not appeal to him.
However, according to TeamTalk, Dyche is now open to the challenge of helping Tottenham preserve their Premier League status.
However, there is no clarity regarding whether this would be a short-term appointment or something longer, which remains a key factor in any potential agreement.
Dyche’s track record in relegation battles makes him a logical option. The 53-year-old has successfully guided teams through similar situations during his time at Everton, Watford and Burnley.
A short-term deal until the end of the season could suit Tottenham’s immediate needs, but a contract covering just seven games may still raise doubts from Dyche’s perspective.
On the other hand, a longer-term appointment could prove unpopular among supporters, particularly given the availability of other managerial options in the summer and Dyche’s lack of experience at Champions League level.
Tottenham options limited as Roberto De Zerbi stance becomes clear
Tottenham’s options appear increasingly limited at this stage of the season.
Roberto De Zerbi is still viewed as the club’s preferred candidate, but the former Brighton manager has once again indicated that he is not prepared to take over immediately, instead favouring a move in the summer.
TeamTalk also reports that internal discussions have taken place over several other names, including former Spurs figures Robbie Keane, Tim Sherwood and Harry Redknapp, although none of those options have progressed.
As things stand, Tottenham may have little choice but to focus on short-term solutions.
If Sean Dyche is willing to take on the role until the end of the season, he looks like the most sensible option given his experience in similar situations and the urgency of Spurs’ current position.
However, if a short-term deal does not appeal to him, Tottenham may be forced to turn to internal or familiar figures such as those mentioned above, also including Ryan Mason, while keeping their focus on a long-term appointment in the summer, with Mauricio Pochettino still viewed by many supporters as the clear favourite.
