Liverpool moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table by beating Everton on Saturday. And its two likeliest title rivals — Arsenal and Manchester City — will face off today.
Mikel Arteta's team could move back within three points of Liverpool with a win, while Pep Guardiola's has lost games against Tottenham and Brighton already this season. The only difference between the Reds and Arsenal so far has been the match between the sides that was decided by Dominik Szoboszlai.
"Massive game, massive game," Phil Foden said when previewing the game. "We obviously know how difficult Arsenal is, they don’t make it easy for us.
"Similar to Napoli, they are so hard to break down, but hopefully we can keep patient and pick our moments at the right times. It’s going to be a very good game and a good watch."
"I didn’t think it was [special] in the past, but in the last few years we were title competitors, so yes," Rodri added.
"Of course, because we had players that played here, [and] have gone to Arsenal. Mikel [Arteta] was here [as part of Guardiola’s backroom staff] and went there and it became a bit bigger.
"We’re in a rhythm right now where they are in a better position and they are at a better level so if we want to keep fighting with them, we have to raise the level, it’s obvious.
"We know that it is the beginning of the season where we will play as much as we can do to regain that level."
In the UK, the game will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. You can stream it via Sky GO. In the US, it can be watched and streamed via Peacock.

"It's about winning again and creating another good moment for us," Mikel Arteta said in his pre-match press conference, which was held on Friday. "The consistency, competing against one of the best teams in the world, and a good test for us to see our level.
"We’ve had two very important wins [since the international break], very good feeling about the games as well, and we’re preparing for a big match for Sunday."
