Arsenal welcomes Sunderland to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, with the Gunners eyeing back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time in 2026.
The Gunners stretched their lead at the top of the standings to six points last weekend as Arsenal and Aston Villa both dropped points, and a win over the Black Cats would take them a step closer to the title.
As for Sunderland, it is coming off the back of a 3-0 win over Burnley on Monday, but most of the team's good results have come at the Stadium of Light, with just two of their nine league wins this season coming on the road.

What the managers said
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on facing Sunderland: "They are extremely competitive, really well coached, they have very good individuals, a very clear identity of what they want to do, where they want to take the game, and they are very good at it.
"You could obviously see the result they had against the top side, so we know what to expect, but we need to deliver that tomorrow."
Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris on facing Arsenal: "We have to show the best version of Sunderland with an underdog mindset. They are playing at a huge level. They are impressive in the Premier League, outstanding in the Champions League.
"They are probably one of the best teams in Europe at the minute, so it’s a tough challenge, but an exciting challenge.
“I think if we keep this mindset, we stay humble, we know that we have to be strong on our key pillars, otherwise the level is too high and you get punished really quickly."
