Chelsea returns to the Champions League today, and the Blues face one of the toughest tests in Europe as they travel to Bayern Munich in their opening league phase game.
The Conference League champions are back at the top table of European football after finishing fourth in the Premier League last season, and Enzo Maresca's side will be hoping they can get off to the perfect start in Germany.
Bayern though will provide a difficult first test, especially with the likes of Harry Kane and former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz to contend with as the Bundesliga champion looks to put a marker down.

What time is kick-off?
It's an 8 pm kick-off UK time at the Allianz Arena - fans in the US will no doubt be happy with the late start.
For them, it's 3 pm Eastern Time and 12 noon Pacific Time.
Is the match on TV?
The game will be broadcast on TNT Sports 2 in the UK, with coverage getting underway from 7 pm. Streaming is available on Discovery+.
As for viewers in the US, the game will be broadcast and streamed live on Paramount+.

Early team news
Both sides are without some key players for today's game. Jamal Musiala remains out for Bayern, having picked up a nasty leg injury during the Club World Cup.
Hiroki Ito, Alphonso Davies and Raphael Guerreiro are also out for the German champions, although Nicolas Jackson will be aiming to face his old side after making the switch on loan from Chelsea in the summer.
As for the Blues, summer signing Liam Delap is expected to spend a lengthy period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Benoit Badiashile, Romeo Lavia, Dario Essugo and Levi Colwill all remain out injured.
