Early team news

Brentford is without midfielder Paris Maghoma, who has picked up a thigh injury, while a further three players are doubts for the hosts.

Reiss Nelson could miss out through illness, while Gustavo Nunes and Fabio Carvalho are struggling with thigh and knee issues respectively.

As for City, Guardiola remains without four big names, with Omar Marmoush still out with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Rayan Cherki will have to sit out another game with a thigh problem, with Abdukodir Khusanov (ankle) and Rayan Ait-Nouri joining him on the sidelines.
