If Liverpool can overturn the 1-0 deficit that it suffered against Galatasaray in Turkiye, it will take on either Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea — almost certainly the former, unless there is a miracle turnaround.
In the first leg in Paris, the game was tight until near the end. Vitinha put PSG ahead with 16 minutes left of normal time after Enzo Fernandez's equalizer, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia netted a brace to likely take the tie beyond Chelsea.
At Stamford Bridge, the Blues will need to start well if they are to have any chance of progressing. Manchester City and Tottenham also trail by three goals (against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid respectively), while Newcastle and Arsenal drew 1-1 (against Barcelona and Bayer Leverkusen).

Injury-wise, goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has a minor groin issue. Regardless, after his mistakes in the first leg, it is likely that Robert Sanchez will come back in for the second leg.
Brazilian wonderkid Estevao is back in training, and the likes of Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez will need to put in a big performance if Chelsea is to have any chance of a comeback.

Reece James and Jamie Gittens were not spotted in Chelsea's open training session, with Liam Rosenior needing as many of his big names available as possible to have a chance of turning things around.
For PSG, Ousmane Dembele was fit for the first leg but Luis Enrique is managing the winger. Key midfielder Fabian Ruiz remains out but Joao Neves starred in the first leg.
"We saw that Chelsea are a very high-level team," Enrique said ahead of the second leg. "That's why they won so much last year.
"We’re not going to London to defend a result. Our mentality is to try to win the match, to attack, and to deserve to win the match because when you think about defending a result, it doesn't work."

"It’s collective. It’s collective. I make mistakes; everybody makes mistakes. That’s my point," Liam Rosenior said at who takes the blame for the late collapse in the first leg giving Chelsea so much work to do.
"It’s not all on me. It’s not all on the players. We’re a collective, a group. It’s all good when we win 4-1 at Aston Villa and everyone is happy and takes accountability then.
"You have to take accountability when things don’t go your way [as well]. For me, that’s part of the culture that I want at this club: for everybody to be part of the same thing, whether it’s a success or a defeat."
