Manchester City will look to close the gap to leaders Arsenal on Sunday when it travels to Crystal Palace.
Pep Guardiola’s side head to Selhurst Park having won its last four and hopes are growing that it can challenge the Gunners to reclaim the Premier League title. City currently trails Arsenal by five points.
As for Palace, it also has lofty aims. The South London clubs would move back into the top four with a win over City, who it beat in last season’s FA Cup final. Like City, the Eagles are in a good run of form and have won their previous three games.

Team news
Kolo Toure stepped in for Guardiola’s usual pre-match media duties, with the Catalan unable to attend. The former Liverpool, Arsenal and City defender revealed that John Stones and Rodri will not be back in time for Sunday’s trip to the capital.
Mateo Kovacic is the club’s only long-term injury and is not expected to return for several months.
“It was John’s thigh. That’s the problem. I’m sure it wasn’t something too big and I think he will be back soon,” said Toure, in reference to why Stones didn’t travel to Madrid in midweek.
“Rodri is training well, and his rehab is going well. He is looking sharper and sharper. For sure we won’t see him for the weekend but he’s going through the process.”
Meanwhile, Oliver Glasner will be without Daniel Munoz, who will undergo surgery to correct a knee injury and will be out for up to six weeks.
Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta are also doubts for the game, but Jaydee Canvot is expected to return after missing the midweek win over Shelbourne through illness.
Long-term absentees Cheick Doucoure, Chadi Riad, Rio Cardines and Caleb Kporha remain unavailable.
