Liverpool could be four points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table by the time it kicks off against Manchester United, though any slip-up from the Gunners could see the Reds retake the lead with a win.
Arne Slot's side will face Manchester United on Sunday, with Arsenal traveling to Fulham the day before. Mikel Arteta's men drew this fixture last season and lost it the year before that.
In the UK, the game will be shown live on Sky Sports. It can also be streamed via the channel's app and online services for customers signed up to SKY GO. In the US, it will be televised and streamed on NBC.
Arsenal will be without Martin Odegaard (knee), Noni Madueke (knee), Kai Havertz (knee) and Gabriel Jesus (knee). Piero Hincapie (groin) is doubtful.
Fulham will be unable to select Sasa Lukic (unspecified), Rodrigo Muniz (knock) and Kenny Tete (unspecified). Antonee Robinson (knee), Raul Jimenez (hip) and Samu Chukwueze (unspecified) are all potentially set to be absent too.
Arsenal has struggled against Fulham at times in recent years, but Arteta is hoping that his side can show that it has progressed since then.
"[Newcastle] is a good example; West Ham as well," he said. "In the last two seasons, we lost against them at home, so that’s an opportunity tomorrow.
"We know that it's a really tough place to go. They're a very well-coached team, and we're going to have to be at our best tomorrow.
"[Our defensive record is] a platform to build performances and results, that's for sure. We want to consistently be able to defend at that level.
"In order to do that is how well we attack and how committed everybody is to doing what we have to do. If we continue to do that, it's going to give us a big chance to get what we want.

"I think it tells about the organisation of the team and the consistency that we are showing in many aspects.
"The more we do those things in a lot of parameters throughout the season and establish ourselves in those categories at the highest level, the bigger the chance will be to achieve what we want."
On Arsenal being the favorite to win the Premier League, Arteta added: "I don't know. Then we have to ask how accurate it was one, four or eight weeks ago. So we don't know.
"I'm sure a result will change that in an even better percentage for us, or worse, depending on what happens. Let's focus on what we can control."
