Liverpool resumes its Champions League campaign with a trip to Galatasaray in the first leg of the last 16 tonight.
The Reds avoided a two-legged play-off to make it into the knockout stage proper by finishing third in the league phase, and thus also secured – on paper – a favorable draw.
Not many would have a trip to Galatasaray down as a favorable assignment, though. Arne Slot's men have already lost once there this season — and go into the game without the injured Alisson.
What time is kick-off?
The game between Galatasaray and Liverpool kicks off at 5.45 p.m. GMT on Tuesday, Mar. 10, which means it's a 1.45 p.m. ET start and a 10.45 a.m. PT start.

Team news
Liverpool has taken a 21-man squad to Istanbul, but Slot is a couple of senior players down after Alisson and Federico Chiesa were left at home due to fitness reasons.
“Federico was also not in the session, he felt unwell last night, so that’s why he wasn’t training with us today and not travelling with us,” said Slot in his pre-game press conference.
“Ali, of course, was in the session – as many people could see – but unfortunately he felt something towards the end of the session.
“People looked at it and we decided and he decided together that it wasn’t good enough to play tomorrow. And then it’s of no use travelling.”
Long-term absentees Stefan Bajcetic, Conor Bradley, Wataru Endo, Alexander Isak and Giovanni Leoni remain unavailable.

What Arne Slot has said
Arne Slot on Galatasaray: "They have a very good team and we have a very good team. So are you happy to play against them? No, there's not one team which you prefer to play in the last 16 because they are all very good teams – including Galatasaray.
"We've already lost against them, so that tells you how difficult of a game it is for us. The good thing now is that we play two games, where in the group stage you only play away against Galatasaray.
"Now we also have a chance to play in front of our own fans, which will be impressive for Galatasaray.
"These fans over here are very impressive, we've noticed that when we've played here. The good thing is we've experienced it already once now. That's maybe a positive thing.
"The Galatasaray players are experiencing this every home game. But for us it was new when you have the ball that the whistling, if that's the right word, is so loud. That was new for me and even for all of my experienced players.
"So, the good thing is that we've already experienced it. But we not only play against the fans, we also play against 11 very good players that are a very strong team, managed by a very good manager."
