At least one of the teams above Liverpool in the Champions League standings will drop points as Inter Milan hosts Arsenal at the San Siro, with Arne Slot's men in action in Marseille on Wednesday.
In Europe is where Liverpool's best results have come and it might well be cheering on the Gunners here, given the Reds are currently level on points with the Serie A team and hoping to move ahead and into the top eight spots, to avoid the playoff round.
So far this season, Arsenal has won all six games in Europe, conceding only one goal in that time. Liverpool, meanwhile, beat Inter a few weeks ago with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring from the penalty spot when Florian Wirtz's jersey was pulled back.

"In the Champions League, when you have the opportunity to achieve something, you have to grab it,” Mikel Arteta said in his pre-match press conference in Italy.
"Tomorrow we're really going to have to earn it against a top, top side. [Finishing in the top eight] is massive, we know that, and if we win tomorrow, we know that's going to be the case. So, let's make it happen.

Max Dowman is missing for Arsenal because of an ankle injury. Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie are also sidelined at the moment with no exact return date provided for either player.

Hakan Calhanoglu and Denzel Dumfries are both absent for Inter. Josep Martinez is set to be out, while Tomas Palacios is a doubt.
"In the first phase, they’re aggressive," Arteta said. "Where they lose the ball, they’re more aggressive in getting it back. Then they have the talent, the ability, the mentality.
"We are very clear about what we have to do to play the game we want to play, and then you deserve it. It has to be when we have the opportunity to score the goal, and then dominate these things, which are vital."
