In arguably the most intriguing fixture of the Premier League weekend, Leeds United hosts Arsenal on Saturday, with Daniel Farke's side looking to cause an upset in the title race.

After losing to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal has not won in the league since the first game of 2026 against Bournemouth. It drew with Liverpool and then Nottingham Forest.

Now, with Leeds in relatively decent form and capable of causing an upset, Arsenal faces a test at Elland Road that could be telling amid talk that Mikel Arteta's men are feeling the pressure and Manchester City only four points behind.

Pep Guardiola's men, who beat Galatasaray in the Champions League midweek, take on Tottenham on Sunday and if Arsenal slips up, Manchester City could smell blood.

In the UK, Leeds vs Arsenal will not be shown live because it falls in the blackout period. In the US, it will be shown on USA and available to stream live on USA Network.

Leeds will be without Jaka Bikol (thigh) and Daniel James (hamstring), while Gabriel Gudmundsson (groin) is a doubt. Arsenal will be missing Max Dowman (ankle) and William Saliba and Jurrien Timber (both with knocks) are doubts.

"It’s just understanding where you are," Mikel Arteta said in his press conference on Friday when he was asked about the midweek Champions League win potentially helping the players forget about the Manchester United defeat.

"Certainly when you lose a game, you have a lot of feelings because especially the group of players are so competitive and they seek for excellence and when you don’t reach it, you ask yourself questions and we did that.

"But I think my role is to bring optimism and reality of where we are. Our club has a long, long history and to find a moment when in February, we’re in the position that we are is very difficult to find.

"So we are doing so many things so well and let’s focus mainly on that. For sure we want to improve, we want to be better in every area, but with that sense of self-confidence and conviction that we are on the right path."

On his players getting better and working on connections with each other, Arteta added: "To figure it out a lot, to work very little, unfortunately, because we haven't had time.

"The availability of the players are crucial in relation to that. We constantly build that and now we have some new ones as well with some of the players that in the last few weeks have been available, and learn quickly.

"The quicker we learn, the better because we will know what is more effective against certain opponents as well and we'll be better."
