Liverpool returns to Champions League action on Wednesday and will be eager to secure three points to halt its recent downturn in results.
Three weeks on from what felt like a momentous win over Real Madrid, and Liverpool’s fortunes have been hit with two significant setbacks that have quashed any optimism around the team’s aspirations.
Successive 3-0 losses to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League have significantly increased the pressure on head coach Arne Slot. However, that wasn’t evident in Tuesday’s pre-match press conference, as the ex-Feyenoord boss cut a relaxed figure back in front of the Dutch media.
Perhaps that’s unsurprising given Liverpool’s Champions League form, with the Reds taking nine points from the opening four matches this season.
Another victory would leave Liverpool in an excellent position to secure automatic qualification to the knockout rounds.
Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the crucial Champions League encounter.

Team news
Liverpool remains without Conor Bradley, Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni for the midweek game. Florian Wirtz, who missed Saturday’s bruising defeat against Forest with a knock, missed training again on Tuesday and looks set to be sidelined again.
Slot also revealed Joe Gomez has been struggling with a knee injury, but will be fit enough to make the squad.
The Dutchman is short of defensive options but could look to rotate in midfield and attack in the midst of a busy run of fixtures.
As for PSV, head coach Peter Bosz confirmed in Tuesday’s press conference that PSV remains without those who missed Saturday’s win over NAC Breda. That means Ruben van Bommel and Alassane Plea will miss the trip to Anfield.
