Liverpool begins its League Cup campaign later today, a round on from Manchester United's elimination. Having reached the final last season, it will launch its efforts to go one better with a home game against Southampton.
It's been a perfect start to the season so far for Liverpool, with six wins out of six in all competitions. That's without having seen much of Alexander Isak, the record deadline day arrival.
He may well play some part against Southampton in the Carabao Cup as he builds up fitness, although Arne Slot has warned not to expect any of the first-teamers who have had a heavy recent match load. There should consequently be a platform for some of the club's exciting youngsters, including new signing Giovanni Leoni.
Supporters will also be keen for a more extended glimpse at promising talents like Rio Ngumoha. Another who looks ready for more minutes at this level is Trey Nyoni.
But it could be an intriguing test against a Southampton side that was in the Premier League last season (although it has had a tough start to Championship life). Here's how you can follow along via TV or live stream in the US and the UK.
What time is kick-off?
Liverpool vs Southampton kicks off at 8PM BST. For fans in the US, that might mean a sneaky second screen is required at work.
Kick-off is at 3PM for anyone on the east coast. It's a lunchtime game as far as the west is concerned, with the match getting underway at 12 noon Pacific Time.
The Reds will be grateful to have received the home draw, which minimizes travel time ahead of a busy week. After this game is done, two trips to London (Crystal Palace and then Chelsea) are set to be sandwiched by an away day in Turkey, when Liverpool takes on Galatasaray.
After that, it's the next international break. If Liverpool's 100 per cent record is still intact by then, it can be extremely pleased with its efforts.
Is the game on TV?
Yes, you can watch Liverpool vs Southampton on TV. In fact, in a rarity for UK viewers, the match will be free to watch on terrestrial television.
ITV has the broadcast rights for this match. Alternatively, paying subscribers can watch on Sky Sports, where the game has been picked for Sky Sports Main Event.
Radio listeners in the UK can catch the game on talkSPORT 2. Alternatively, BBC Radio Solent will be providing local commentary.
For the US audience, Liverpool vs Southampton will be shown live on Paramount+. SiriusXM provides US radio coverage of the Carabao Cup.

Early team news
As touched upon earlier, Slot will be giving some key stars the night off. He has ruled out Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah.
Meanwhile, there was a further hint from U21 coach Rob Page. He left Trey Nyoni, Jayden Danns, and Kieran Morrison out of his team at the weekend, suggesting they could be involved against Southampton.
Kaide Gordon was also absent. However, it should be noted that he has been in and out of the U21s anyway this season.
Logic dictates that Federico Chiesa will play some sort of part, while Jeremie Frimpong and Curtis Jones could also use the minutes after recent returns from injury. Slot may take the chance to further build up Isak's fitness, too.
But it's a free choice for Slot, with nobody out through injury or suspension. Southampton's bill of health is also close to clean; Welington is the only confirmed absentee, although Cameron Archer missed the last match with a hamstring issue, and Flynn Downes has been fighting persistent illness.
