Everything you need to know about Man City vs Liverpool in the FA Cup:

  1. Match date and kick off: The blockbuster FA Cup quarter final between Manchester City and Liverpool takes place on Saturday, April 4. Kick off is scheduled for 12:45pm BST at the Etihad Stadium.
  2. TV channel: Fans in the UK can watch the action live on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate. Coverage is expected to begin an hour before kick off.
  3. Live stream details: The match will be available to stream live via the HBO Max website and app. TNT Sports moved from Discovery+ to HBO Max last month, though subscribers can still log in using the same username and password they used for Discovery+.
  4. Radio coverage: Comprehensive national radio commentary will be provided by BBC Radio 5 Live. It will also be available on talkSPORT, with coverage starting roughly an hour before kick off.
  5. Man City team news: Josko Gvardiol is still out while Ruben Dias and John Stones are doubts for the game after both withdrew from international duty last month. Marc Guehi, who was ineligible for the Carabao Cup final, is free to play, however.
  6. Liverpool team news: Mo Salah and Federico Chiesa have returned to full fitness and are available. Alexander Isak, who recently resumed first team training after a long injury lay-off, isn't expected to be risked, however.
  7. The road to the quarter final: Pep Guardiola's side beat Newcastle, Salford and Exeter en route the quarters. Arne Slot's team, meanwhile, overcame Wolves, Brighton and Barnsley.
  8. Recent head to head: Man City have had the upper hand in recent encounters, winning their last two games against Liverpool, including a 3-0 win at the Etihad back in November. Liverpool, however, beat City the last time they faced each other in the FA Cup, securing a 3-2 semi final win at Wembley in 2022.
