How to watch Man Utd vs Leeds in US and UK - TV channel, live stream, early team news

Man Utd and Leeds will get their respective preseasons underway with a mouthwatering first fixture. The fierce rivals are set to meet in the league again this season for the first time since 2023, but will first face off today in this warm-up match in Stockholm.

Despite Ruben Amorim skating through last season on the excuse that the squad could not execute his methods, Man Utd has made few personnel changes in the transfer market. Only Matheus Cunha has a chance to feature against Leeds, although Bryan Mbeumo does now look belatedly set to follow him through the door.

With such minimal changes, the better times ahead that have been promised by the manager may well be on hold, with familiar issues very likely to rear their head. Meanwhile, novel issues seem to appear every week, with the latest saga involving apparent attempts to offload academy players for PSR purposes without even consulting the relevant families.

But this preseason is something of a clean slate for Amorim and Man Utd. And if nothing else, a game against Leeds is never irrelevant, with both sets of supporters eager to claim the bragging rights.

Fresh from its promotion as champion, Leeds will be optimistic of inflicting some damage. It has some new signings of its own to show off: Lukas Nmecha signed on a free transfer from Wolsfburg, while Sebastiaan Bornauw arrived from the same place.

Gabriel Gudmundsson has come in from Lille, while the biggest outlay has been on Jaka Bijol. The center-back cost $21 million (£16 million) from Udinese.

All four of these signings are expected to play a part against Man Utd. Dan James, formerly of Old Trafford and having recently penned an extension at Leeds, is also likely to be involved.

Cunha will feature for Man Utd. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia presumably will not, having been placed in a "bomb squad" by Amorim as the club looks to offload them.
