Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest today, with Mikel Arteta's side hoping to capitalize on Manchester City's Manchester derby defeat to Manchester United.
The first game of the weekend Premier League action saw City lose to Man United 2-0 at Old Trafford, with goals from Bryan Mbuemo and Patrick Dorgu helping interim boss Michael Carrick get off to a perfect start. The result means that a win for Arsenal over Forest would move the Gunners nine points clear of their closest title rivals, putting Arteta and co in an even more commanding position than they entered the weekend.
Last time out, Arsenal claimed a 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge in midweek when they beat Chelsea in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semifinal.
