A place in the Africa Cup of Nations final is up for grabs for Mohamed Salah today, but he comes up against his former teammate as Egypt meets Senegal in the semi-finals.

Salah has been on fire at the tournament so far, having scored in every game he's played in to help his nation reach the last four. He comes up against a familiar face today, with Sadio Mane aiming to deny him a place in Sunday's showpiece.

The pair met in the 2021 final, with Mane claiming bragging rights after Senegal won in a penalty shootout. Salah will be looking for some revenge as he looks to finally add a continental title to his trophy haul.

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 5 pm UK time at the Tangier Grand Stadium in Morocco. For fans in the US, that's 12 noon Eastern Time and 9 am Pacific Time.

Is the game on TV?

Supporters in the UK will be able to watch all the action from AFCON for free, with every match from the tournament being shown live on Channel 4's network.

Early team news

Salah and Mane will both be expected to start for their respective sides today. While the former has four goals so far in the tournament, and will be vying to finish as top scorer, Mane has just one goal, having scored in a 1-1 draw with DR Congo in the group stages.

Senegal has a fully fit squad for today's game, with Everton pair Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye likely to start again, while Nicolas Jackson and Pape Matar Sarr will by vying for spots in the line-up.

As for Egypt, defender Mohamed Hamdi remains out with a knee injury. Manchester City's Omar Marmoush will be aiming to support Salah, having scored in the quarter-final victory over Ivory Coast.
