How to watch Wolves vs Man City in US and UK - TV channel, live stream, early team news

After Liverpool won its opening fixture of the new Premier League season by beating Bournemouth, the rest of the potential title winners will be in action across the next couple of days.

On Sunday, Chelsea will host Crystal Palace a team that Liverpool knows can cause problems, having lost on penalties to Oliver Glasner's side six days ago — while Arsenal travels to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. On Saturday, Manchester City has an away game against Wolves to contend with.

Pep Guardiola's side struggled by its own high standards last season and finished 13 points behind Liverpool in the end. After spending big in January and the summer, it will be expected to challenge properly once again.

In the UK, the match will be shown live on Sky Sports and streamed via the Sky GO app. The highlights will be available on YouTube shortly after the final whistle.

In the United States, the game will be available to watch live on NBC Sports. Supporters can also tune in via Peacock's streaming service with kick-off scheduled for 12:30pm ET.

Team news-wise, Manchester City will be missing Rodri (hip), Mateo Kovacic (calf), Savinho, and Claudio Echeverri (ankle). Phil Foden (ankle) and Josko Gvardiol (knock) are both doubts.

Ederson could depart before the transfer window closes and could therefore miss out.

Erling Haaland will lead the line with Omar Marmoush, Rayan Cherki, and Jeremy Doku potentially supporting him. New signing Tijjani Reijnders, who is an excellent addition, is also likely to feature.

"Rodri is so soon to come back, but it is important his knee is perfect," Pep Guardiola said on Friday. "He played Juventus after six weeks in his leg and we try to avoid that now he needs to play minutes in training sessions.

"What we want for him is to come back and to take a step back that would not be good. In this dynamic you can’t get rhythm, it is so demanding.

"He’s made good training sessions and tomorrow he’s travelling. We will decide how many minutes. Hopefully he can play minutes in next games then after the international break every three days he can help us."

Wolves will be missing Leon Chiwone (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), and Fabio Silva (thigh). The pressure will be on Jorgen Strand Larsen to be the main attacking threat for Vitor Pereira's men, while new signings Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias could both feature.

“We have some new players and I’m expecting another one or two or three, and the club is working on that, so we’ll see, as I cannot say now that we are at our best level, we still need to have time for this," Pereira said.

"But this is the magic that I need in my life to work; to create every time, to express my creativity because I like to create new things.

"For me, each season is a chance for me to create, to rebuild and to express myself so I can help my team. This is the butterflies and the passion that I feel."
