A new report has shed light on the feeling inside Tottenham after seeing Micky van de Ven and Djed Spence snub Thomas Frank following the 1-0 loss against Chelsea.
While Tottenham’s abject performance against the Blues on Saturday has got the alarm bells ringing, so has an incident that happened directly after the final whistle.
A video showed Van de Ven and Spence snubbing Frank and walking straight to the dressing room, with the Spurs head coach’s gesture indicating he was not too pleased with what happened.
Frank has put Van de Ven’s and Spence’s behaviour down to frustration, preferring to play down the incident in the post-match press conference.

How Tottenham see Micky van de Ven’s and Djed Spence’s behaviour
It has now been revealed by BBC Sport that the incident is also not being treated as a big deal inside the club.
The report says that Spurs are satisfied that Spence and Van de Ven’s antics are not a slight on Frank.
Instead, they accept that the Tottenham duo were frustrated at having lost another home game as well as by the build-up of negativity from the fans at their stadium over recent weeks.
It thus appears that the North London club are happy to move and bury the incident under the carpet for the time being.
What do Spurs fans think about the incident?
It would be unfair to read too much into the incident, but some can be forgiven for seeing it as the first crack appearing at the club under the new regime.
However, not all Spurs fans see the pair’s antics as evidence of a disconnect between the players and the coaching staff.
In fact, some Tottenham supporters were livid with Van de Ven and Spence, suggesting that the players need to take responsibility for the abject performance they delivered on Saturday.
