The feelings of the higher-ups at Tottenham Hotspur have now been revealed, after sections of the fanbase voiced growing dissatisfaction with recent performances under Thomas Frank.
Thomas Frank has had some impressive moments at the helm of Tottenham Hotspur since taking charge from Ange Postecoglou in the summer.
The Dane managed to secure four wins from his first five Premier League games, keeping Spurs compact at the back while maintaining pace with some of their league rivals.
However, in recent weeks, the promising start has begun to show cracks, with results turning mixed and the football on display far from inspiring.

Tottenham stance on Thomas Frank revealed amid fan frustration
Spurs fans have not been shy in voicing their displeasure at Thomas Frank’s recent performances.
Boos have echoed around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the club’s last two home games, with Frank and his players jeered at full time against Chelsea, while his decision to substitute Xavi Simons against Manchester United was also met with disapproval from the stands.
The feelings of the higher-ups at Tottenham Hotspur have now been revealed following the frustration of Spurs fans.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham remain confident that Thomas Frank is the right man for the job despite a turbulent run of results in recent weeks.
Rather than contemplating a change of manager, it is believed the club feel that a shift in attacking approach is what is needed to appease fans, as Frank’s pragmatic style has come under increasing scrutiny.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, Pete O’Rourke shed light on the club’s position, explaining that there is no sense of panic within Tottenham despite recent criticism.
He said: “There’s no panic I think from within Tottenham on what’s happening now. They’re still confident that Thomas Frank is the man for them and the fans might just have to be patient because Frank’s still working at the best, probably set up for his own side as well at Tottenham.
“So things could be a lot worse than fifth in the table and still competing in the Champions League. It can’t be that hard to be a Spurs fan right now, surely.”
Why Tottenham fans must be patient with Thomas Frank
Spurs supporters will need to remain patient, but at the same time, Thomas Frank must find a way to improve Tottenham’s attacking play.
The club’s current top scorer is a defender, with Micky van de Ven having found the net six times in all competitions, which highlights the lack of efficiency from those in attacking positions.
While at Brentford, Frank’s side were never short of goals, with Ivan Toney, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa regularly on the scoresheet.
That level of attacking fluidity and ruthlessness is exactly what Tottenham fans are hoping to see develop under his management, especially given it was one of the expectations upon his appointment.
