Arsenal have been given a huge boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Chelsea next month after Blues defender Wesley Fofana was shown a red card in their clash with Burnley.
The French defender was given his marching orders in the Blues' top-flight clash with the Clarets after picking up a second yellow card in the 72nd minute.
Fofana had already been booked in the first half for upending Hannibal Mejbri as the Burnley midfielder looked to drive forward, with Chelsea one goal to the good after Jaoa Pedro's strike after just four minutes.
The French centre-half was then shown a second yellow by Lewis Smith for a late challenge on Burnley midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Fofana caught the Clarets midfielder on the ankle and was shown a second yellow, which also resulted in Cole Palmer's afternoon being brought to an early finish.
Liam Rosenior brought on Tosin Adarabioyo for the England international, who cut a frutrated figure as he made his way off the pitch.
Despite the decision to shore up the defence, Burnley grabbed a late equaliser through Zian Flemming in the 93rd minute, meaning the Blues had to settle for a share of the points.
Fofana's dismissal marked the sixth time Chelsea have had a player sent off in the Premier League this season, the most of any team in the English top flight.
It's also their ninth red card of the campaign in all competitions, including former boss Enzo Maresca's red card against Liverpool earlier this season.
It's a huge boost for Arsenal ahead of their meeting with the Blues on March 1, with Fofana now suspended for the game.
The Gunners may have surrendered top spot in the Premier League if results go against them. Arteta's men are in action tomorrow against Spurs and defeat could see Man City move to within two points, should they beat Newcastle United later tonight.
City then take on Leeds United, a day before the Gunners take on Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, meaning another win would move Guardiola's side a point clear ahead of kick off.
