Hugo Ekitike announcement made by Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of Liverpool transfer

Frankfurt has unsurprisingly announced that Hugo Ekitike will not travel to the United States for the Bundesliga club's pre-season tour.

Ekitike is closing in on a big-money transfer to Liverpool after the Reds agreed to pay an initial $93 million for the striker with another $13 million to come in possible add-ons.

Frankfurt announced its squad for the tour alongside the accompanying statement: "Junior Dina Ebimbe, Aurelio Buta, Hrvoje Smolcic, Mo Dahoud and Hugo Ekitike have been released for talks with other clubs and will not travel to the training camp."
