Hugo Ekitike injury adds to Arne Slot woes as Liverpool striker forced off vs PSV

Hugo Ekitike limped off the field during the second half of Liverpool's Champions League meeting with PSV Eindhoven to add to Arne Slot's woes.

Ekitike was dribbling towards the PSV byline around the hour mark when he went down and thumped the ground in frustration, clearly in the knowledge that he had sustained a problem that would force him off the field.

The French striker was replaced by fellow summer signing Alexander Isak, who had started the game on the bench.
