Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has now reached 10 goals in the Premier League following his brace against Tottenham in the North London Derby
Ian Wright has claimed Viktor Gyokeres will be deemed a "hit" for Arsenal if he reaches 15 Premier League goals this season.
The Swede, a £63.5million summer signing from Sporting CP, has been in sparkling form since the turn of the year.
Gyokeres rattled in a brace in the 4-1 North London Derby victory at Tottenham last weekend and no top-flight player has more goal contributions than his 10 in 2026.
Arsenal icon Wright feels the 27-year-old can now kick on towards the 15-mark in the Premier League.
He said on The Overlap: "I did say I think he can score between 10 and 12 [Premier League goals].
"If he carries on now, I believe he could probably get more. Every single goal now, when you see Arsenal are in everything, all the competitions, every single goal now is so important for him now.

"If he could get on that kind of run now, especially after them two goals he scored against Spurs, hopefully he can score those goals.
"People constantly talk about him as the guy that scores against the lower-end teams which he done in Portugal, he's doing it here but that's what Arsenal always need.
"We need that. We've scored goals against top-six, we've done that, we've shown we can do that. We need to break down that kind of defence and score goals against that kind of team.
"With obviously Chelsea coming up, you're hoping he'll get the same kind of space because he struggles against that low block when it's all condenses.
"He's got 10 goals now, I said 10 to 12 but if he can get 15 or 16 goals then he will be a hit.
"When you look at our run-in, you can see that he can do it but against Wolves, we went the other way, the pressure was mounting and they weren't dealing with it very well."
Gyokeres has already hit 15 goals in all competitions and has also provided two assists since arriving from Portugal last summer.
While there is huge competition for places in attack at the Emirates Stadium, the Sweden international has taken centre stage in the absence of Mikel Merino.
Arsenal host Chelsea on Sunday and Gyokeres will be keen to find the target again after scoring against the Blues in the Carabao Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge last month.
