A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have picked up on Igor Tudor’s hilarious mistake ahead of kick-off against Liverpool.
Not many Spurs fans would have given their side a chance of getting anything from Anfield, given the number of key players that the club were without for the big game.
However, the Tottenham players showed that they have not thrown in the towel just yet, as they fought back in the second half, with a late Richarlison equaliser ensuring they took a point.
Tudor is hopeful that the performance will spark Spurs’ survival push, with the result potentially buying the Croat a little more time.
Igor Tudor mistakes bald Tottenham official for Arne Slot
Viewers noticed that just ahead of kick-off, Tudor went up to a bald man standing with his arms crossed on the side of the pitch in a dark coat.
The Spurs interim boss tapped the man on the shoulder to say hello, thinking it was his opposite number.
However, when he turned around, Tudor noticed that he was not Slot, but rather Tottenham’s player liaison officer, Allan Dixon.
The Croat immediately smiled and managed the situation, but many eagle-eyed fans on social media caught his mistake.

Spurs players disproved the myth that they are not playing for Tudor
Ahead of the clash against Liverpool, it was widely reported that Tudor had lost the Tottenham squad, with the players having ‘no faith’ in the Croat to get them out of trouble.
However, despite missing so many of their big-name stars, the Spurs players showed plenty of fight and desire at Anfield.
One would hope that this performance is the start of a turnaround for Tudor at Tottenham, who still need at least two or three more wins in their remaining eight games to be confident of avoiding relegation.
