Jack Grealish scored a 78th-minute winner as Everton beat AFC Bournemouth, before celebrating on Instagram, where Sonny Gallagher shared an X-rated message about the Man City loanee.
Jack Grealish continued an impressive loan stint with Everton on Tuesday evening, netting the decisive goal in their Premier League encounter against AFC Bournemouth. His strike arrived in the 78th minute, propelling the Toffees to ninth place in the standings.
The England international's attempt caught Djordje Petrovic off guard, before he raced away towards the visiting supporters, planting a kiss on the Everton crest. Grealish has now found the net twice and provided four assists in 13 Premier League appearances since his loan move from Manchester City.
Following the victory on the south coast, Grealish turned to Instagram to mark the result. He posted: "Get in there what a win with the bruvass!! Come on you toffees."
The player also revealed his allegiances through a shared post on his story update. Sonny Gallagher - son of Oasis superstar Noel - re-shared Grealish's post on his story with the message: "Super. F******. Jack."
The 30-year-old then shared the story himself, accompanied by Two Door Cinema Club's track - What You Know. "I've scored two goals this season," Grealish remarked during his post-match interview. "One was like a tackle and one was a deflection.
"I got hammered for years for not scoring so I'm taking both of the goals." He added: "I love the manager to pieces. I've only known him a few months, but I also can't speak highly enough of him as a person - how he makes me feel and how he wants me to play for him.
"I'm not sure I like that!" Moyes quipped when questioned about Grealish's remarks. He then further commented: "The supporters love him. Jack has given the club something really different. I don't want to call him an entertainer. He's a top footballer.
"He doesn't want to play 60 minutes and come off. I've been asking him to score more goals. I want him to get a bundle of goals for us."
Grealish has rediscovered his best at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after a difficult 2024/2025 season with City. The former Aston Villa captain started just seven Premier League games last term and was left out of City's squad for the Club World Cup this summer.
In August, the England international opened up about his struggles in enjoying his football in his final days at the Etihad Stadium. "City are one of the best clubs in the world, so I don't really know where people expect you to go [after]," he said.
"Obviously, for me, this is a massive club. I think about the history of Everton and what they have done over the years and how they have always been in the Premier League and the fan base.
"It's a massive club, you know. For me, I wanted to come here and enjoy the football, enjoy playing every day. Maybe at times in the last couple of years I have fallen out of love, not fallen out of love, but just didn't enjoy football as much as I should.
"My family said it to me at times when I was home. That's down to no one else, it is down to myself. I absolutely love football, I want to have that feeling again.
"You know that feeling when you wake up on a match day and can't wait to get out there, that is how I felt."
