Jamie Carragher was left red-faced after omitting Edwin van der Sar from his top five Premier League goalkeepers of all time, with the Dutchman confronting him directly in the Sky Sports studio.
The former Manchester United No. 1 spent just over five years at Old Trafford, claiming four league titles, and is widely considered one of the finest shot-stoppers in top-flight history. Yet Liverpool legend Carragher placed him sixth in his all-time rankings, positioning him ahead of the likes of Ederson and David Seaman, both of whom also collected multiple league titles during their careers.
Red Devils icon Van der Sar quipped when he saw the list: "I thought I'd made the top five, Jamie? Come on!"

"You were in the top five until you mentioned I hadn't won the Premier League," said Carragher.
"What you did at Man Utd was absolutely fantastic, and I apologize, but Gary Neville said it better than me.
"You came in, and Man Utd started winning titles again, getting to Champions League finals."

Two further former United stoppers also featured on the list, with David de Gea — signed as Van der Sar's successor — coming in fourth. Peter Schmeichel, widely regarded as the greatest Premier League goalkeeper of all time, was ranked second by Carragher.
The Sky Sports analyst placed Thibaut Courtois fifth, with the Belgian having claimed two Premier League titles across four years at Chelsea. Alisson came in third, while former Chelsea stopper Petr Cech claimed the coveted top spot.
The Czech international was pivotal during Jose Mourinho's reign at Stamford Bridge and continues to hold some of the most impressive defensive records in Premier League history.
Carragher said: "I couldn't get Petr Cech's performance in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich out of my head.
"I was in the stadium that night. He kept them in that game and won them the game. I played against him so much. You used to go into games and think, 'How are we going to score past him?' Not just him, but that whole back four.
"It just felt like that, and he was an outstanding goalkeeper.
"Chelsea were a really good team and spent a lot of money, but they didn't start winning until he came into the club."
