Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher found himself subjected to a torrent of verbal abuse ahead of Sunday's Merseyside derby.
The Reds made their maiden visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium at the weekend following Everton's relocation to its new ground. The afternoon proved to be full of drama, culminating in defender Virgil van Dijk heading home a stoppage-time winner.
Mohamed Salah and Beto had traded goals after Iliman Ndiaye saw his effort chalked off by VAR. Carragher also found himself at the center of a pre-match incident. While making his way around the stadium towards the Sky Sports studio, he was confronted by a particularly vocal fan hurling insults.

Reflecting on Liverpool's triumph, Carragher remarked: "The result is absolutely huge for Liverpool when you consider the Chelsea result yesterday.
"When that board went up for 11 minutes, I'd have shook with anyone and taken a point from a Liverpool point of view. With the situation with the goalkeeper, Everton were a little bit more threatening.
"Liverpool were a small team towards the end of that game, and I was fearful of set-pieces.
"When you think of how Liverpool have won this game, two of the absolute legends of the club have done it. They won't be here much longer. Salah and probably Van Dijk in 12 months' time.
"Two of the absolute greats. Salah has done it again against Liverpool's biggest rivals, as he always does. Against Everton or Man Utd, you can always rely upon him."
Liverpool's victory over Everton leaves the Reds occupying fifth place in the Premier League table, sitting in the final Champions League qualification spot.
Arne Slot's players return to action on Saturday when Crystal Palace visits Anfield.
The Reds then face a pivotal game in their bid to reclaim a place in European soccer's top tier, with a showdown against Manchester United at Old Trafford set for just under two weeks.
