Jamie Carragher has indicated that Dominik Szoboszlai represents Liverpool's strongest choice in two positions - causing a selection dilemma for manager Arne Slot.
On Sunday, the Hungary international deputised at right-back for Liverpool against Nottingham Forest, having already featured there on multiple occasions this campaign, including matches against Manchester City and Arsenal.
Slot, still managing without Jeremie Frimpong, finds himself limited for options at right-back. Matters deteriorated further when Wataru Endo sustained a foot injury recently. Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez are now the only viable candidates for Slot in that position, with Calvin Ramsay deemed unsuitable by the Dutch manager.

"Liverpool have had real right-back problems," Carragher said on Sky Sports ahead of Sunday's game.
"Endo was there against Sunderland, three players are now injured there and Gomez is not fully fit.

"If everyone was fully fit, Szoboszlai would still be Liverpool's best right-back.
"He'd be Liverpool's best midfielder, too. That's the problem for them, too.
"The midfield area, the quality that Forest have got in [Elliot] Anderson and [Morgan] Gibbs-White, that will be the key area today.
"[Ryan] Gravenberch, [Alexis] Mac Allister and [Florian] Wirtz, the Forest midfield can go up against them and cause them problems."
When asked whether Szoboszlai was also Liverpool's finest midfielder, Carragher responded: "Yeah, he is this season.
"And that's the problem for him really."
Liverpool departed the City Ground with a narrow 1-0 victory, as Alexis Mac Allister saw two goals initially disallowed before his stoppage-time effort was ultimately permitted to stand.
The Reds return to Premier League action on Saturday when they welcome relegation-threatened West Ham to Anfield, with Slot's side eager to climb back into the Champions League places.
