Jamie Carragher branded Moises Caicedo a "monster" as the Chelsea midfielder played a major part in his side's opener against Tottenham Hotspur.

Enzo Maresca and his side made the short trip to north London on Saturday evening to take on the Lilywhites, and it didn't take the Blues long to gain an advantage. While Lucas Bergvall was deployed in the engine room by Thomas Frank from the outset, he was subbed off just seven minutes into the match after being hit in the side of the head by a volleyed clearance from Enzo Fernandez.

Xavi Simons entered the fray as a replacement as Spurs' evening went from bad to worse ahead of half-time when they went 1-0 down via Joao Pedro.
